The challenge
X86 Network’s previous website was built with a visual page builder. Keeping the design consistent across pages was hard work, and every update carried the risk of breaking the layout.
What we built
- A custom WordPress block theme, with the design defined once in code.
- A companion plugin for data such as locations and clients, with data-driven blocks like maps and logo walls.
- Editable FAQs and tabs using native WordPress blocks.
- A one-click site setup that never overwrites the client’s edits.
- Existing page addresses kept, to protect search rankings.
The result
The X86 team now edit their own content in the standard WordPress editor, while design updates arrive safely with each theme release.
